Droughts, storms, rising sea levels – the temperature of the earth has already risen by one percent. This climatic crisis was caused by the industrial nations of the global north. But it is the women of the global south, which are hit hardest by the effects of it.
On November 10th, on the occasion of the UN Climate Change Conference in Bonn, we want to find out how the women of the global south act against climate change and what we can learn from them.
Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim from Chad and Neth Dano from the Philippines report from their respective mother countries. Afterwards, they and Katharina Dröge will have a discussion about how to best unite in the fight against climate change.
